The origins of Dutch Design as we know it today also started 25 years ago.

For our 25th birthday we chose to spotlight the four Dutch designers that we were closest to and who became part of our own journey; Ineke Hans, Richard Hutten, Edward van Vliet and Marcel Wanders.

We invited the talented new generation Dutch Design duo Daphna Laurens to design the show (as they often do for Dutch Invertuals).

PLAYTIME was chosen as the theme because we feel that it represents the playful way Dutch Design experimented with ideas and materials as we have done this last quarter century.
