Discoverer of new and old talent
Creative director Sebastian Wrong is not only a talented designer, but also an excellent discoverer of young talent and promising concepts. Their creative spirit has given the company a reputation for innovation and experimentation, which can be seen in every piece of lighting and furniture they produce.
Such as the Mauro chair, described as resilient and comfortable by the now 92-year-old designer. This designer chair was originally conceived several decades ago. However, due to its progressive design, it was not possible to produce it in significant numbers at a reasonable price. During a factory visit to Italy, Sebastian Wrong discovered this wooden dining room chair with an upholstered seat, and this unique dining room chair has finally come to life.
To create the Filigrana Ellipse Pendant Light, classic techniques are used in a contemporary form. These designer lamps were launched at the Salone del Mobile 2018. Handmade from Venetian glass, each lamp is manufactured using a method originating from the island of Murano, passed down from generation to generation. Colored stripes are created on the lampshade using a special technique.
With her expertise in cast translucent materials, Sabine Marcelis designed the Aura Light. Measuring over a meter in length, this lamp's design is made of polyester resin with a reinforced core. Gentle on the eyes, it creates a pleasant ambient lighting effect and an ideal atmosphere for the home in the study or kitchen, as well as living and office spaces.
