'Icons by Menu' is part of the renowned Danish brand Menu and focuses on creating timeless furniture masterpieces rooted in design and craft traditions of the 1950s.
Four models by the talented mid-century modern designer Ib Kofod-Larsen form the basis of this exclusive collection, which is only for sale in a few selected locations and is being introduced to the Netherlands by us via this show.
'His furniture is sophisticated and well-proportioned with beautiful silhouettes and sculptural, organic lines and curves.'
Besides his masterpieces such as his timeless armchairs and the Penguin chairs series (including rocking chair), the collection includes the floating Pagode Sofa by couple Tove & Edvard Kindt-Larsen, the super elegant Oda armchair by Arnold Madsen and the pioneering Radiohuse sofa designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen as early as 1936!
In addition, we showcase works that New York top stylist Colin King created with Menu, outspoken Calcatta Violla marble table blocks designed by Norm Archtects, Swedish Collectors lamps and the playful mid-century modern designs by Arthur Umanof that Menu brought back into production.
